Simone Rossi teaches Neurophysiology at the Università degli Studi of Siena. He is past-president of the Italian Society of Physiology and Cognitive Neuroscience, and is currently Secretary of the Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology. He is an internationally acclaimed expert on functional studies of the brain and non-invasive neuromodulation, and together with an engineer has invented robotic haptic devices to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease, from hand paralysis and tinnitus.
